See ‘The Bride Speaks’

Just click on the page to the right for The Poetry Slave’s first collaborative tone poem, written by Ashley Capes & Jane Williams.

Though the use of the word ‘tone poem’ here isn’t exact, that’s basically what we’re doing. In the way that Sergei Rachmaninoff used Arnold Böcklin‘s painting ‘The Isle of the Dead‘ as a starting point for his piece of the same name, we’ve used the expressionist painter Marc Chagall‘s work Les Fiances de  la Tour Eiffel as ours.
